Anotec was contracted by the Rotary Wing Design and Research Centre of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in Bangalore (India) for the noise certification of the Dhruv helicopter, in accordance with ICAO Annex 16, Chapter 8, under EASA authority. The main objective of this Project was to provide HAL with noise certification capabilities. Therefore the Project consisted of delivery of a full noise certification flight test measurement system, data analysis software and exhaustive training of HAL staff. On-the-job training was provided during the performance of the flight tests and during the data analysis and reporting stages. The Project was successfully concluded when EASA delivered the corresponding noise certificate.
